General Terms and Conditions Swiss Ski School Adelboden (SSA)
General
- We recommend booking lessons well in advance, at the latest by 17.00 the day before. Short-term bookings are possible if the Swiss Ski School Adelboden has free capacity.
- Lessons take place in all weathers. If the mountain railways have to suspend operations due to weather conditions or if safety is not guaranteed due to exceptional snow or weather conditions, lessons will take place at the small ski lifts near the village or will be cancelled. In this case there is no right to a refund. Guests will be informed as soon as possible by the Swiss Ski School Adelboden.
- The rates for lessons do not include the use of the lifts. The Swiss Ski School Adelboden will not provide any compensation for cancelled lessons due to the failure of the cable car and lift facilities.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the course, otherwise the full rate will be charged.
- All offers in the online shop and on the website are non-binding. Parts of the pages or the complete publication including all offers and information might be extended, changed or partly or completely deleted by the SSA without separate announcement.
Private classes
- In the event of late arrival or early termination of lessons, there is no entitlement to a refund from the Swiss Ski School Adelboden.
Group classes
- The ski tickets are personal and non-transferable.
- If the minimum number of participants per strength class is not reached, we reserve the right to combine classes, shorten the lesson times or cancel the lessons.
- Refunds will be made in the event of accident or illness, for which a doctor's certificate is required. The days used will be calculated according to the tariff and the difference refunded.
Insurance
- The Swiss Ski School Adelboden is not liable for accidents during snow sports lessons and competitions. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
Data protection
- The Swiss Ski School Adelboden processes your personal data in accordance with the new Swiss Data Protection Act and the principles of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default. This means that we will only use your data for the purposes for which you have given us your consent and that we will take reasonable steps to protect your data and safeguard your privacy.
- The Swiss Ski School Adelboden reserves the right to use any visual material for marketing purposes. You can revoke permission to use and share the data and images at any time by sending us a message to this effect to skischule@adelboden.ch. The data required for the business transaction will of course be treated confidentially.
- You have the right to request information about your data stored with us, to correct or delete it at any time.
Prices
- The prices listed are in Swiss francs.
- Payment must be made directly after booking and at the latest before the course starts.
Place of jurisdiction
- The place of jurisdiction is Thun.
- Swiss law shall apply.
